ALCC chapters joined landscape industry professionals across the country for the annual Day of Service on April 22, volunteering time and materials to help local communities restore and install new landscapes. ALCC chapters worked with schools and students on projects to enhance awareness and learning about landscapes and their value.

Diggable Designs joined the Denver Chapter to work alongside students in the Career Pathway Program at Green Mountain High School, Lakewood. The project involved renovating beds at the main entrance and creating an outdoor learning lab garden. Rather than working for a school, this was the first time volunteers worked with its students. They removed/replaced rock mulch, relocated some plants and planted new ones.
